Class Descriptions
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation for western traditional dance. Students will be taught placement through proper technique while enjoying creative movement.
Jazz
Jazz dance engages the dancer with rhythm and beats. Using kid appropriate music, dancers will master complicated rhythms using classic jazz dance movements, all while having FUN!!
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and Jazz. Choreography is expressive and filled with emotions.
Modern/Contemporary
Modern/Contemporary dance using abstract forms to to create interesting movement. Historically modern uses instrumental music.
Hip Hop
Known for its fun funky movements and exciting music. APAC offers child appropriate hip hop classes choreographed to age appropriate music.
Hippity Hop
This Class is the same as Hip Hop but designed for our younger dancers ages 3 to Kindergarten.
Tutu Cute
This Class is design to introduce dance to our youngest dancers ages 2.5 to kindergarten using creative dance, ballet and tap
K-2 Combo Classes
Combo Classes are design for young K-2nd grade dancers . Students will learn the foundations of ballet, jazz and tap techniques in a creative format.
Adult classes
Adult Classes allow students 18 and older a variety of dance techniques. Classes fit into a combo class format where two techniques will be taught each class. This class is fun and exciting and will challenge different muscle groups all while having fun!!
